Biography
Born on March 1 1985, this piscean indentifies himself as an "introverted extrovert."
He was a very active child, excelling in sports like soccer, hockey, tennis baseball and often known as the "funny guy" in class.
He was elected school president in 8th grade by his peers.
Served with a dilema in 10th grade, a decision had to be made: be the highschool volleyball captain OR play a character in the school play. Acting played a more serious role in his life after that.
John is a certified Ontario Tennis Association Intstructor.
He began auditioning for film and television in 12th grade.
Most recently, John won a leading role in american feature film "PHASE ONE" alongside Eric Roberts and Tricia Helfer, set for late 2010 release.
During the past 8 years, John has achieved both domestic and international success.
He has dominated network TV on the award winning shows :

He brought hockey icon and tough guy Bobby Clarke to life in the legendary TV miniseries CANADA RUSSIA '72.
He is also accomplished in the TV movie world appearing on The Lifetime Network and Hallmark Channel opposite TV veterans Ted McGinley, Genie Francis, and Ashley Jones.

John was nominated for a GLAAD media award at the 15th annual GLAAD Media Awards and featured in the popular LOS ANGELES publication THE ADVOCATE for his role in Degrassi: The Next Generation. Other accolades include "best ensemble actor" for Degrassi: The Next Generation at the Young Artist Awards in Los Angeles.
He has also appeard in FLARE MAGAZINE as one of Canada's up and coming talents.
In 2005, John played a successfull role as team captain alongside Woody Harrelson, Rachel McAdams and Jason Lewis for a not-for-profit film camp providing underprivileged youth with the filmmaking experience. The benefit was called "Presenting Our Vision" and was partnered with Serve Canada.
